Authenticating Pictures of Russian Attacks in Battlefront the Zaporizhzhia Region
Recent satellite images appear to deliver the clearest indication yet that combat movements are proceeding in the area.
Photos recorded on the start of the week showed a notable armed deployment in the north area of the city, close to a key point.
The satellite photo, captured just after 8:30 in the morning regional time, displays around 40 military units stationed among the debris of many buildings destroyed in previous period. Haze could also be spotted billowing from a structure and a road close by.
A convoy of nine transports could also be identified to the southern part of the locality on a major road close to a strategic passage, where there was a sizable quantity of army units located in staging zones surrounded by berms—makeshift fortifications built of sand or earth.
These vehicles were not visible at this spot in other past overhead images, although it should be emphasized that while this photo was captured in the early hours, previous photos were recorded in the late PM.
The photos also displayed a thick stream of traffic extending 2 miles out of the locality along a coastal route. People have been exiting along this route for some time now, attempting to flee the ongoing fighting.
