The United Kingdom is prepared to move forward with employing the full worth of seized Russian holdings to aid the Ukrainian military campaign, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has declared.

In a shared declaration, the officials of the UK, France, and Germany stated that this coordinated action would escalate tension on Moscow's head Vladimir Putin and persuade Russia to come to the table.

They added that the move would be executed in close cooperation with the America.

British restrictions have blocked in excess of £25bn of Russia's assets since the Russian government began its widespread offensive against the Ukrainian nation in 2022. However, up to this point, resources sent to Ukraine using Russian funds had exclusively been sourced from gains and dividends accrued on them.

Sir Keir told Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky that the Britain, the French Republic, and Germany were in agreement in their desire to drive progress toward utilizing the total worth of the immobilized Russian sovereign assets to end the war.

He added that more measures over the next period would increase the strain on Russia.

This announcement is subsequent to European Union representatives gathered in the Danish capital recently to discuss using frozen Russian assets for a €140bn credit to the Ukrainian nation.

Last month, American leader Donald Trump encouraged international partners to take or employ seized Russian holdings, as reported by news outlets.

The total of frozen Russia's holdings in the EU is calculated to be almost €211bn.

Leader Zelensky encourages Britain's Sir Keir Starmer to participate in the Purl program

Russia carried out large-scale missile and drone strikes across Ukraine on that day, leading to blackouts in large parts of Kyiv, the city, and eight other regions.

Two people were fatally injured and no fewer than 20 people were wounded in the strike, the Ukrainian government reported.

In a update on an online platform subsequent to the attack, Zelensky wrote that the strategic strike targeted public and utility structures.

"The necessity is not mere statements but concrete steps - from the United States, EU, and the seven nations - in delivering air defence systems and enforcing penalties," he emphasized.

"Each restrictive measure weakens Russia's war machine," Zelensky declared, in a additional update.

In the same period, Zelensky told media outlets he would press Sir Keir to participate in the PURL scheme, under which partner nations purchase arms from the United States to provide to Ukraine.

While praising the Britain's firm backing for Ukraine, he noted it should demonstrate clearly that it would take part in the system, as well as apply additional restrictions on Moscow.
